Profile Description:
Business Analytics roles are the backbone of our Revenue Optimization Analytics team. The Business Analyst is an entry level role which serves as the critical liaison between business stakeholders and the rest of our analytics team. The Business Analyst is a strong communicator responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements then translating these into clear, actionable specifications. The Business Analyst is a data partner responsible for using analysis and modeling to proactively identify trends and gaps in the revenue cycle process. As a technical resource the Business Analyst is proficient in using spreadsheets, SQL, and Python to build scalable and repeatable data solutions. A strong Business Analyst can structure, execute, QA test, and present their work. Success in this position requires a blend of revenue cycle domain knowledge, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication, and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
Process: 
-          Develop and maintain reporting on key performance indicators and partner with the business to identify outliers, gaps, and opportunities to improve
-          Become the subject matter expert on an assigned client(s) with deep understanding of their billing system, processes, practice structure, and data
-          Adhere to dev ops process including requirement gathering, documentation, work estimation, quality testing, and on time delivery
-          Partner with other members of the Revenue Optimization Analytics team to standardize measures, define best practice, and build enterprise analytics
People:
-          Develop high trust collaborative relationships with operational and client success leaders
-          Clearly present complex analysis findings, data sets, and methodologies to non-technical stakeholders
Client:
-          Partner with client success leaders to prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews with clients
-          Proactively analyze revenue cycle performance KPIs and SLAs identifying opportunities before client driven escalations
-          Act as the primary POC and SME for client analysis

Financial:
-          Maintain analyses supporting budget and revenue forecasting
-     Quantify the financial impact to client and IKS on common RCM issues such as denials, payer delays, etc
Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience as a business analyst
Undergraduate education in applicable business or technical area
Role Prerequisites:
Freshers directly out of Premier college/institutions OR minimum of 2+ years of overall experience is a must.
An experience of working in an analytical and consulting role as well as conducting data analysis and intelligence would be preferred.
Functional Competencies:
Knowledge of working on advanced Excel is a must

-          Ability to define, implement, and automate reports that effectively monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as A/R days, denial rates, and net collection percentage.
-          Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet (excel, google sheets)
-          Beginner to intermediate SQL (bigquery experience preferred)
-      Beginner to intermediate Python for data (e.g. pandas numpy, beautiful soup, scrapy)
-          Experience working in an Agile (kanban or scrum) environment strongly preferred (Jira preferred)
