Job Summary
You’ll be joining a young team that’s been built from the ground up over the last six months. This is the second hire into the function, so you need to be someone who steps in, takes ownership, and isn’t waiting for perfectly defined processes. What this really means is you’ll be working closely with global clients and internal teams, digging into complex data, shaping documentation from scratch and helping refine how the team operates day to day. Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis. Work with SQL and other analysis tools to investigate data sources, targets, and flows. Make sure the data is accurate, consistent, and well understood.
- Client Interaction. Serve as the main point of contact for clients. Handle requirement discussions, updates on fixes and enhancements, and any questions that come up.
- Documentation Ownership. Build and maintain complete, clear documentation for each data adapter. Capture business logic, mapping rules, test cases, and user guides using JIRA and Confluence.
- Requirement Facilitation. Translate client needs into actionable tasks for the development team. Make sure the technical work matches the real business problem.
- Issue Resolution. Coordinate between clients and technical teams to resolve problems quickly and keep client satisfaction high.
Must-Have Requirements
- Experience
3–6 years in data analysis or a closely related role. - Technical Skills
Strong SQL skills with hands-on data analysis experience.
Experience working in ETL data warehouse environments.
Ability to query data in AWS services such as DynamoDB and RDS. - Communication
Fluent, professional English—written and verbal.
Comfortable dealing with international customers and global stakeholders. - Documentation
Solid experience using JIRA and Confluence to create and maintain technical and project documentation. - Client Engagement
Confident working directly with clients and engineering teams.
Proven ability to clarify requirements and resolve complex issues. - Mindset
Proactive, independent, collaborative, patient, and comfortable in a newly built team where processes are still evolving.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with financial data or financial systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with financial terminology and integration patterns.
