Business Analyst - Fulfilment

Location: One BKC, Mumbai / Hybrid

Reporting: Head of Data

About Nivoda

At Nivoda, we’re reimagining how the world buys and sells jewellery. Our global marketplace connects retailers and suppliers across diamonds, gemstones, and finished jewellery — already powering over $300M in annual transactions and scaling fast toward our billion-dollar vision.

We’re bringing tech, data, and automation to a $350B industry that’s barely scratched the surface of digital transformation. The result? Explosive growth and massive opportunity - powered by a team that makes it happen.

Our Fulfilment function sits at the core of the customer experience, ensuring every order moves through our global supply chain quickly, reliably, and at scale.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Business Analyst to help build the analytical foundation of Nivoda’s global fulfilment and operations engine.

This role is for someone who enjoys understanding how real-world operations work - where items get delayed, why costs increase, and how small process or system improvements can materially improve speed, reliability, and margin.

You’ll partner closely with Fulfilment and Operations teams, turning raw operational data into insights, dashboards, and recommendations that directly influence day-to-day execution and longer-term optimisation. This is an execution-first, problem-solving role with clear ownership — ideal for someone early in their analytics career who wants to develop strong operational and analytical fundamentals.

What You’ll Do1. Turn Fulfilment Data Into Clarity

Build visibility across our fulfilment and logistics operations:

  • Own core fulfilment dashboards across intake, QC, shipping, delivery, and returns.

  • Track key metrics such as turnaround times, SLA adherence, hub throughput, backlog, and shipping costs.

  • Proactively surface insights - not just what’s happening, but where delays, inefficiencies, and risks are emerging.

Your impact: Fulfilment and Ops teams have a clear, trusted view of performance across hubs and workflows.

2. Support Operational Optimisation

Help make fulfilment operations run more efficiently:

  • Analyse bottlenecks and drop-offs across fulfilment stages.

  • Support measurement of process changes and operational experiments.

  • Flag early signals when performance is trending off track.

Your impact: Faster issue detection and continuous improvements in speed, cost, and reliability.

3. Performance Tracking & Reporting

Bring structure and consistency to operational reporting:

  • Produce regular performance reporting for Fulfilment and Ops leadership.

  • Track actual performance against SLAs, targets, and historical benchmarks.

  • Build views that help teams understand performance trends in real time.

Your impact: Fewer surprises and clearer accountability across operations.

4. Data, Systems & Foundations

Help scale clean, reliable fulfilment data:

  • Work hands-on with fulfilment and logistics data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Maintain clear metric definitions and reporting logic as operations scale.

  • Partner with the Data team to improve data models, pipelines, and documentation.

Your impact: Clean, trusted data that teams rely on to run daily operations.

5. Ad-Hoc & Deep-Dive Analysis

Support operational decision-making:

  • Build focused analyses to support questions around capacity, hub performance, cost drivers, and process efficiency.

  • Respond quickly to leadership questions with clear, thoughtful analysis.

  • Develop strong intuition for how fulfilment performance connects to customer experience and margins.

Your impact: Better operational decisions, backed by evidence rather than instinct.

Who You Are
  • 2-4+ years experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.

  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable working with messy operational data.

  • Confident writing SQL to analyse datasets (joins, aggregations, basic CTEs).

  • Able to turn data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-moving, operational environments.

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with fulfilment, logistics, supply chain, or operations data.

  • Exposure to modern data warehouses or BI tools.

  • Familiarity with analytics engineering concepts or data modelling.

  • Experience supporting operational or frontline teams.

What Success Looks Like
  • Fulfilment dashboards are accurate, trusted, and used regularly by Ops teams.

  • Operational issues are spotted early - not after SLAs are missed.

  • Reporting becomes simpler, clearer, and more consistent.

  • Data quality across fulfilment systems steadily improves.

  • Fulfilment leaders feel supported with timely, actionable insights.

Why Nivoda
  • Work closely with Fulfilment, Operations, and Data leaders on core operational challenges.

  • Real ownership and visible impact on customer experience and cost efficiency.

  • Strong foundations for growth into senior analytics, ops, or strategy roles.

  • Join a hyper-growth company transforming a global industry.
