Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience as a Product Owner to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between our IT and business objectives by translating business needs into technical solutions. Leveraging your experience as a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in defining product features, prioritizing development tasks, and ensuring the alignment of product deliverables with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
- Use your experience as a Product Owner to define and prioritize product features and enhancements.
- Create detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
- Analyze and document current processes and workflows.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements or automation.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and drive consensus.
- Assist in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and report on project status.
- Provide support and training to end-users on new features or enhancements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or IT environment.
- Previous experience as a Product Owner or similar role is required.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in creating detailed requirements documentation (e.g., user stories, use cases, process flows).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is a plus.
