Job Description

Purpose of the role

To enable the success of the business and assist senior leaders navigate complex challenges, make informed decisions, and achieve their goals

Accountabilities

  • Collaboration with business and senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaison between different business units and functions, fostering communication and collaboration.
  • Management and coordination of strategic initiatives, projects, and change management efforts to optimize business processes and strengthen the control environment.
  • Improvement of operational efficiency within the organisation including the identification of areas for improvement, streamlining of processes, and implementation of best practices to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Development of performance reporting for key metrics that reinforce the strategic objectives of the division and support the external commitments made. Involvement in aspects of financial analysis and budget management, including assistance in financial planning, forecasting, and monitoring of financial performance against targets.
  • Support to business heads in partnership with HR on hiring, workforce planning, joiner/mover/leaver actions.

  • Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside team and external to the organisation.

Join us as a " Analyst – Markets Client Strategy  " at Barclays. Investment Banking Analytics works in close partnership with our product and coverage businesses to design, develop and deliver valuable data and analytic content.  We are accountable for the continued development and evolution of the analytic capabilities to support the growing reliance on data and creating model driven outcomes. The successful candidate will be required to work directly with developers and business consumers to find the most meaningful ways of presenting complex combinations of the qualitative and quantitative data to drive commercial outcomes.

To be successful as a “ Analyst – Markets Client Strategy ", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Good at synthesizing information and storytelling
  • Experience of delivering high-quality presentations for senior management
  • Excellent PowerPoint and data visualization skills
  • Strategic decision support

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

  • Develop clear and compelling messaging to communicate key points.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize complex and diverse information.
  • Refine large volumes of data into concise, actionable insights.
  • Provide strategic support to senior management in decision-making processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and summaries for executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various departments to collect necessary information.
  • Ensure consistent and professional communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and insights.
  • Present findings in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Produce ‘Market Performance’ MI for Senior Management

This role will be based out of Nirlon Knowledge Park, Mumbai
