  • Over 5 years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong focus on data engineering.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Azure Data Engineering stack, including:

    • Event Hub, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Synapse, SQL DB, Databricks, and Data Explorer.

  • Proficient in Python, PySpark, Spark, Scala, Hive, and Impala for large-scale data processing.

  • Strong expertise in SQL development and coding with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Solid understanding of additional Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Analytics, U-SQL, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.

  • Well-versed in Modern Data Warehouse concepts, Lambda architecture, and data warehousing principles.

  • Experience with scripting languages like Shell for automation and workflow management.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team.

  • Hands-on experience in Agile delivery environments with knowledge of software development best practices.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Azure Data Engineer certification is an added advantage.
