Synopsis of the role
AVP– Sales Operations will play a key role in supporting the sales team by optimizing sales processes, implementing and managing sales tools, analyzing sales data, and ensuring effective communication between the sales department and other teams. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, acumen of numbers, and a deep understanding of sales strategies and operations.
What you’ll do

Sales Process Optimization: Work with sales leadership to define and improve the sales process, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Identify areas for improvement in sales workflows and implement changes to enhance productivity.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales performance data, customer trends, and pipeline health to provide actionable insights for sales strategy adjustments. Develop and maintain sales performance reports, dashboards, and metrics to track team progress.

Sales Tools & Technology Management: Manage the implementation, integration, and optimization of sales tools (Sales Force, CRM systems, sales enablement tools, etc.) &ensure the sales team is trained on new tools and processes, and provide ongoing support

Forecasting & Planning: Assist in the development of accurate sales forecasts and track sales performance against goals. Help in setting sales quotas and targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, finance, and other departments to align on sales objectives, pipeline management, and business strategy. Support the onboarding and training of new sales hires.

Process Documentation & Standardization: Create and maintain documentation for sales processes and procedures. Ensure consistency and standardization across all sales teams

Sales Compensation & Incentives: Support the administration of sales compensation plans and incentive structures. Track and ensure accuracy in sales commission calculations
What experience you need

Bachelor & degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

8+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or similar roles.

Strong proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce and other sales tools)

Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Team management skills
