Associate Software Engineer

Our team of engineers, at all levels, works with the business leaders in defining the product roadmap and comes up with innovative solutions to grow the future of travel. The Customer Care Tech team works with AI use cases, working on the latest technology stack along with cloud technologies like GCP & AWS. The team is working on building a new CRM platform with AI capabilities from scratch; hence, there are lots of learnings in spinning up new applications and releasing the same.
In this role, you will get to:
Participate in mission-critical projects with direct impact on the evolution of Priceline's business.
Be part of a cross-functional agile team that continuously experiments, iterates, and delivers on new product objectives.
Work on GenAI use cases and cloud technologies like AWS & GCP.
Showcase your development skills in Java or similar programming languages.
Apply your programming skills towards building low-latency and high-throughput transactional services with continuous integration and automation testing.
Implement SQL composition skills that collect and query data for investigation and analysis in real time from our applications.
Utilize your knowledge to understand our codebase, systems, and business requirements to effectively make changes to our applications.
Effectively collaborate and engage in team efforts, speak up for what you think are the best solutions, and be able to converse respectfully and compromise when necessary.
Who are you—
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
2+ years of experience in software engineering and development.
Strong coding experience with Java and a desire to work across the full stack—React.
Thorough SQL composition skills for composing queries and analysis.
Comfort and experience with Spring boot and REST APIs.
Experience in Microservices
Good to have experience with any cloud, especially GCP OR AWS/ Azure.
