Position Description    

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equity Research Associate to join our research team. The successful candidate will work closely with our lead analysts to support the coverage of IT services, software and internet sectors. This role involves conducting in-depth industry analysis, building financial models, demand forecasting and contributing to the creation of research reports that provide investment recommendations to our clients.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coverage of IT services, software and internet sectors by conducting comprehensive industry and company research.

  • Analyze financial statements, market data, and industry trends to develop insights and investment ideas.

  • Build, update, and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and valuation.

  • Prepare and contribute to the development of research reports, presentations, and other communications.

  • Monitor and evaluate sector news, earnings releases, and significant events impacting covered companies.

  • Collaborate with lead analysts to present findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients. Assist in the development of sector themes and investment strategies.

  • Respond to client and sales team inquiries with timely and accurate information.    

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus MBA from Tier-1 institutes. CFA any level cleared would be a plus.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

  • Knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar.

  • Understanding of equity markets and valuation techniques.
