The Associate in Quality Assurance is responsible for managing the quality process cycles in the factory, conducting inspections, training staff, and ensuring adherence to quality SOPs. They will generate quality reports to drive improvements in production efficiency and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Accomplish Quality process cycle of a factory by controlling samples; follow up materials production in-house status, control materials in-house testing, conducting PP Meetings, cutting permission, inspection, reporting & record keeping.
- Provide training and educate to the quality & production personnel, maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes strictly following the Quality SOP & brand requirements.
- Checking cutting, sewing, and finishing in-process quality control and report to the management.
- Understand and follow the quality SOP in each step of the process, implement buyer’s every work manual & follow the quality standard to the production factory.
- Conduct In-line Audit, an in-process audit in sewing, finishing, and packing.
- Monitor the whole quality process of the assigned factory.
- Conducting Final inspection and confirm the quality of the product.
- Train up and lead factory nominated QA team directly.
- Ultimate responsible person for factory quality controlling process from buyer end.
- Need to generate weekly quality report and Monthly quality reports.
- KRA’s are Reducing DHU%, improve first audit pass rate, reducing Inward Rejection and reducing customer returns.
Qualifications & Experience
- B-Tech/NIFT with 3+ yrs experience in Garment Manufacturing & QA functions.
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Strong Analytical Skills and Process Orientation- Proficiency in MS-Office is a must.
- Previous experience in retail & e-commerce added advantage
