We are modernizing Asia Pacific Local Regulatory Reporting, moving from legacy reporting platforms to a Databricks Lakehouse-based architecture and introducing artificial intelligence-enabled ways of working. We are hiring a hands-on Product Owner / Business Analyst who combines strong regulatory reporting and data analysis experience with a modern technology mindset. You will work across Finance, Technology, and vendor teams to translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable, well-controlled reporting solutions. The ideal candidate can understand the business problem, work through the data, translate requirements into technology delivery, test the outcome, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. To accelerate delivery and improve accuracy, the role leverages agentic artificial intelligence tools while maintaining strong human-in-the-loop controls and review discipline.
Job summaryAs an Associate in Program Management within Asia Pacific Local Regulatory Reporting Modernization, you will own requirements delivery end-to-end—spanning regulatory change, business growth, general ledger optimization, technology modernization, and global alignment in data sourcing and consumption. You will partner closely with Asia Pacific Finance stakeholders (Senior Financial Officers, Legal Entity Controllers), Corporate Technology, and vendor consultants to deliver strategic reporting solutions, operate governance, and ensure high-quality, regulator-ready outputs. You will translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable, well-controlled reporting solutions and drive clear stakeholder communications. You will leverage agentic artificial intelligence tooling to support requirements extraction, impact assessment, test design, validation, and stakeholder-ready narratives, with strong review discipline.
Job responsibilities- Own product vision and roadmap, intake, prioritization, and change control; maintain the backlog (epics, features, user stories), define minimum viable products, sequence delivery, and drive trade-offs across regulatory change versus modernization.

- Translate regulatory circulars and business rules into business requirements documentation, impact assessments, functional specifications, and Jira epics and stories.

- Partner with Finance users, Corporate Technology, and vendor teams to align the operating model and delivery approach.
- Define and implement Medallion-layer reporting logic and controls across Bronze (raw and audit-preserving), Silver (standardize, deduplicate, join), and Gold (regulator-ready rules and submission aggregations).
- Own end-to-end lineage from Gold to Silver to Bronze to source using Unity Catalog.
- Implement validation controls and pre-submission quality gates, including anomaly and outlier detection.
- Define the testing approach, scope, and plan; lead user acceptance testing with Finance and Technology.
- Build test cases and expected results; execute end-to-end tests (including automated tools where applicable), identify issues early, propose mitigations, drive timely closure, and continuously improve processes and controls.
- Use agent workflows (for example, GitHub Copilot and Databricks Genie) to accelerate requirements extraction, mapping logic, rule definition, expected-result creation, and validation; perform structured reviews to ensure outputs are accurate, explainable, and governance-ready (impact summaries, control narratives, committee-ready materials).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Accountancy, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of overall Product Owner / Business Analyst experience, including 3+ years delivering Asia Pacific local regulatory reporting automation for a foreign bank.
- Proven delivery and project management experience in Finance Regulatory Reporting automation.
- Strong data analysis skills to gather and validate facts, define gaps, perform impact analysis, draft requirements, and translate complex needs into functional specifications.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders and produce concise written updates and governance-ready materials.
- Strong planning and time management; ability to handle multiple assignments under deadlines with proactive risk and issue management.
- Collaborative and solution-focused approach; ability to challenge the status quo constructively.
- Practical prompt engineering to drive repeatable outputs (impact assessments, mapping rules, test scenarios, defect triage summaries, stakeholder narratives).
- Ability to review and validate artificial intelligence-generated outputs against source regulatory text, control rules, and expected results (human-in-the-loop).
- Comfort using Visual Studio Code with GitHub Copilot (including Agent Mode) to accelerate requirements and test asset creation while maintaining governance standards.
- Hands-on or working familiarity with Databricks SQL, Unity Catalog, Databricks Genie, Agile backlog tooling (Jira and Confluence), and regulatory reporting vendor platforms (Nasdaq Axiom/Adenza, Wolters Kluwer, Reveleus, Resoft).
- Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate or Data Engineer Associate (or Generative AI Engineer Associate).
- GitHub certification (for example, GitHub Foundations or GitHub Actions) and/or formal Copilot training or enablement.
- Substitution: 2+ years of production, hands-on experience delivering end-to-end business requirements or testing using Unity Catalog, Databricks Genie, and GitHub Copilot Agent Mode in banking.
