As an Associate Producer, you will support the production team in creating sports content, focusing on cricket, for various platforms. Responsibilities include researching, scriptwriting, shooting, and post-producing shows while coordinating with other departments.
About the Role:
JioStar is looking for a dynamic, high-energy Associate Producer to join our sports programming team. This role is designed for professionals with a deep-rooted passion for cricket and a proven track record in live sports broadcasting.
As an Associate Producer, you will be responsible supporting the production team including Live PCR operations and surround programming on properties across TV, digital and social platforms. You will act as a pivotal bridge between creative vision and technical execution, ensuring that our coverage remains world-class, engaging, and innovative for an English-speaking audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the production team across all stages of production.
- Deliver platform-agnostic content for television and digital platforms.
- Research sporting subjects, particularly cricket, and contribute to story development and TV scripting.
- Write and shape TV scripts as per editorial requirements.
- Shoot programme elements in studio and at outside venues.
- Post-produce shows and stories using standard editing workflows.
- Coordinate with production departments, track deliverables, and update the Producer on progress.
- Research and experiment with new technologies, themes, and processes to enhance storytelling.
- Learn quickly and deliver within tight production deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2 to 3 years experience creating content for both TV and digital platforms.
- Basic working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong research capability in sports content.
- Ability to write or shape scripts for television.
- Hands-on experience in shooting and post-production.
- Strong coordination and cross-team working skills.
- Strong understanding of cricket and passion for the sport.
