Job Description
Job Summary:The Analyst is responsible for identifying, investigating, and preventing any suspicious activities. This role involves analysing transactions, monitoring suspicious activities, and implementing strategies to mitigate fraud risks.Key Responsibilities:• Monitor and Analyze Transactions: Identify suspicious activities by monitoring and analyzing financial transactions.• Investigate Fraud Alerts: Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious fraud alerts and escalated cases.• Report Findings: Prepare and present reports on suspicious case findings and prevention strategies.• Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.• Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all suspicious / potential fraudulent activities and the steps taken for resolution.• Participate in Audits: Engage in regular audits and monitor the implementation of recommendations.Skills:• Analytical thinking and problem-solving.• Attention to detail and accuracy.• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
Qualifications:• Proven experience as a fraud analyst or in a similar role.• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.• Proficiency in using analytical tools and software.• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
