TITLE: Associate Manager, Project Manager
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Associate Manager, Customer Success Services Project Management, is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and governance of complex, multi-stream projects within Duck Creek’s Customer Success organization. This role manages small to medium complex projects or defined workstreams within larger programs, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards under the guidance of senior project leadership.
The position operates primarily at the operational level — focusing on execution, coordination, and delivery discipline while supporting governance and risk management activities across Customer Success initiatives. The Associate Manager partners closely with project sponsors, customer success leads, and technical stakeholders to ensure successful execution in alignment with Duck Creek’s delivery methodologies.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Project Management
Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure timely delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Develop detailed project plans, estimates, and schedules for all phases of delivery.
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes with proper governance and communication.
Track, monitor, and report on project progress, deliverables, and milestones to leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to organizational project management standards, processes, and methodologies.
Provide direction within project teams by setting clear expectations, delegating tasks, and ensuring accountability.
Anticipate and address potential risks, challenges, and dependencies to safeguard delivery outcomes.
Facilitate Agile practices such as Daily Stand-ups and Retrospectives.
Promote and ensure team adherence to Agile principles and practices.
Assist in scheduling upgrades by analyzing resource availability and workload distribution. Ensure upgrade timelines align with organizational priorities and customer commitments.
Tools & Documentation
Manage work items, backlogs, and dashboards in Azure DevOps (ADO).
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
Status Reporting & Communication
Prepare and present clear, concise project updates to senior leadership.
Develop impactful presentations and reports highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
Serve as the primary point of coordination for cross-functional communication and project activities.
Ensure effective and timely resolution of escalations to maintain customer satisfaction and operational continuity.
Process Improvement
Identify gaps and implement best practices to enhance delivery efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Perform advanced data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Create professional presentations using PowerPoint for stakeholder communication.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree required, and/or higher level, or foreign equivalent, preferably in area with analytic emphasis
Degree preferred or equivalent years of practical job experience in a similar function or role
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
Minimum of 8 years’ professional experience, preferably in a similar role
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors:
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects in complex, dynamic environments.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
