Job Title: Associate Manager – Fund Accounting
Locations: Hyderabad or Mumbai | Hybrid

What You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting, preferably in real estate, private equity, or alternative investments.
Strong understanding of real estate fund structures (open-end, closed-end, REITs, joint ventures).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or similar systems preferred.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
What You Will Get To Do:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for real estate funds in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS and fund-specific requirements.
Perform NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations, allocations, and reconciliations.
Maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers for real estate investment entities.
Reconcile bank accounts, investment transactions, and intercompany balances.
Support year-end audit processes, including preparing audit work papers and liaising with external auditors.
Assist in processing capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest in accordance with LPAs and investor reporting statements.
Assist in the preparation of audit packs and act as a key liaison with external auditors.
Coordinate with property managers, asset managers, and valuation teams for property-level financial data.
Track investment performance and prepare portfolio-level reporting.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and client-specific SLAs.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
