The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing versatile experienced Associate Java Full Stack Developer to join the Product Support and Services Mobility and Innovation team in Bangalore India. The team provides comprehensive digitally native mobile, progressive web and innovation solutions to rapidly access and transform complex business scenarios by enabling digital products that enhance revenue opportunities and efficiencies for Boeing.

Position Responsibilities:

• Understands and develops software solutions to meet end user requirements.
• Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools.
• Develops algorithms, data and code to translate business problems of moderate complexity.
• Work with a global, distributed team comprising of users, stakeholders and engineers within an agile framework.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in designing and implementing idiomatic RESTful APIs using the Spring framework (v6.0+) with Spring Boot (v3.0+) and Spring Security (v6.0+) in Java (v17+). Experience with additional languages (Scala/Kotlin/others) preferred. 
• Working experience with RDBM Systems, basic SQL scripting and querying, specifically with SQLServer (2018+) and Teradata (v17+). Additional knowledge of schema / modelling / querying optimization preferred. 
• Experience with Typescript (v5+), JavaScript (ES6+), Angular (v15+), Material UI, AmCharts (v5+) 
• Experience working with ALM tools (Git, Gradle, SonarQube, Coverity, Docker, Kubernetes) driven by tests (JUnit, Mockito, Hamcrest etc.)
• Experience in shell scripting (Bash/Sh), CI/CD processes and tools (GitLab CI/similar) OCI containers (Docker/Podman/Buildah etc)  
• Data analysis and engineering experience with Apache Spark (v3+) in Scala, Apache Iceberg / Parquet etc. Experience with Trino/Presto is a bonus.  
• Familiarity with GCP / Azure (VMs, container runtimes, BLOB storage solutions) preferred but not mandatory. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :

• Strong backend experience (Java/Scala/Kotlin etc.) with basic data analysis/engineering experience (Spark/Parquet etc.) OR basic backend experience (Java/Scala etc.) with strong data analysis/engineering experience (Spark/Parquet etc.) OR Moderate backend experience (Java/Kotlin etc.) with Strong Frontend experience (Angular 15+ with SASS / Angular Material) and exposure to DevOps pipelines (GitLab CI).

Typical Education & Experience:

• Typically, 4 -8 years related work experience or Relevant military experience. advanced degree (eg. Bachelor,Master, etc), preferred, but not required.
