About the Role:
As part of the Domestic Acquisitions & Distributions Strategy team, you will play a key role in driving growth across Jiostar’s Sports portfolio and Star Sports distribution strategy. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and attention to detail. You will be responsible for evaluating new business opportunities, shaping distribution strategy and driving data-led insights to strengthen JioStar’s leadership in sports broadcasting.

- Scan the market for new developments, revenue opportunities and emerging trends.
- Maintain a clear view of the competitive landscape and identify what can scale meaningfully for us.
- Build long term relationships with external partners and identify new areas of collaboration.
- Shape partnership constructs, value propositions and support closure of deals.
- Work closely with revenue, content, marketing and analytics teams to identify improvement areas and drive interventions across our portfolio.
- Support key strategic projects through problem structuring, research, alignment and execution.
- Story line and build concise presentations for leadership reviews, partner discussions, monthly and quarterly business reviews,
- Build simple SOPs, frameworks that guide product, content and marketing interventions to improve discoverability and viewership.
- Identify gaps in discoverability, scheduling, marketing or product experience and work with internal teams to close them.
- Track the market, competitors, sponsorship market and other rights that impact our business.
- Use season wise viewership and revenue performance to guide interventions, decisions.
- Work with analytics teams to build season reviews, evaluation reports and long term planning inputs.
- Support the acquisition pipeline through research and evaluations.
- Translate data into simple insights that help drive partner alignment.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- 8–10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, content monetisation or brand solutions within sports and/or entertainment media.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative inputs.
- Proven ability to program manage projects, work across teams and solve problems independently.
- Understanding of linear and digital viewership measurement is a plus.
- Ability to communicate complex information simply, in writing and in person.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort in working with senior leaders.
