About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Developer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is passionate about software development, problem-solving, and building reliable, scalable applications.
You will collaborate with experienced engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, test, and maintain software solutions across our product portfolio. The successful candidate should have a strong programming foundation, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to adapt to evolving technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications and product features under the guidance of senior developers.
• Write clean, readable, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with established coding standards.
• Assist in implementing application components, APIs, integrations, and backend or frontend functionality, depending on project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and development practices.

Testing and Troubleshooting

• Write and execute unit tests and support integration and regression testing.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve software defects with guidance from senior team members.
• Assist in debugging application issues and documenting root causes and resolutions.
• Contribute to improving application reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established development workflows.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, development frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Learn and apply new programming languages, tools, and technologies as required by business needs.

Requirements
Technical Skills

• Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, application architecture, and software development life cycles.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of software testing, debugging, and code quality practices.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Exposure to web development frameworks, backend technologies, or modern application development tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containers, or automated testing.
• Experience with academic, internship, or personal software development projects.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant development experience are encouraged to apply.
• Equivalent practical experience supported by relevant projects may also be considered.
