JioStar’s dynamic Customer Marketing Sports team is looking to hire an Associate in B2B Sports Marketing. This role is critical in coordinating campaign execution, optimizing operational processes, and sustaining strong trade/marketing industry relationships. The candidate will partner closely with sales, media, and brand teams as well as external agencies and vendors to drive efficiency, precision, and best-in-class advertiser experiences in a high-energy, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end B2B marketing operations for major sports events, including campaign planning, activation, and process optimization to maximize exposure and engagement for brand partners and advertisers.
- Drive internal approvals and coordination across cross-functional teams (sales, trade marketing, finance, brand, media) to ensure timely campaign delivery and operational excellence.
- Oversee external and ongoing communications with agency partners, vendors, and sponsorship stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Execute backend marketing operations such as vendor onboarding, PO/invoicing workflows, compliance tracking, and inventory management for campaign assets and event merchandise.
- Maintain, update, and segment advertiser and agency databases to enable targeted, efficient B2B outreach and campaign reporting.
- Coordinate and supervise third-party media vendors/agencies on communication campaigns, post-activity reporting, and delivery of marketing collateral.
- Monitor and administer high-value event merchandise, managing allocation, tracking, and post-campaign inventory audits.
- Foster proactive industry engagement, staying up to date with analytics tools, trade media platforms, and emerging innovations in B2B sports marketing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, platforms, and other ecosystem partners; drive operational adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Maintain detailed execution trackers, task sheets, and status reports for internal and external review.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Timely and accurate execution of B2B marketing plans and sponsorship activations for sports events.
- Robust coordination and stakeholder management with cross-functional and external partners.
- Precision in maintaining customer databases and campaign budgets.
- Familiarity with sports/event marketing, B2B customer journeys, and experience with trade media, digital platforms/marketing agency, and campaign analytics.
- Strong project/program management capability and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and clear business communication.
- Experience with marketing automation tools (AI) and operational workflow systems is a plus.
Experience & Education
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in sports, media, B2B marketing operations, or allied fields.
- MBA/PG or equivalent in Marketing/Business preferred.
