MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our Middle Office Operations team, supporting collateral and margin processing across a diverse portfolio of separately managed accounts for large institutional clients.
This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of collateral processes related to both bilateral and cleared derivatives, ensuring timely and accurate margin calls, dispute resolution, and settlement of collateral movements.
The position will play a critical role in supporting global operations, with primary coverage aligned to US trading hours, ensuring margin obligations are met within tight market timelines.


Key Responsibilities:-
● Process daily margin and collateral calls for bilateral and cleared derivatives.
● Manage margin workflows across multiple asset classes (e.g., OTC derivatives, futures, swaps).
● Ensure timely settlement of margin obligations in line with CSA agreements and CCP requirements.
● Perform daily margin reconciliations using platforms such as AcadiaSoft (Acadia). And TriResolve
● Investigate and resolve margin disputes with counterparties in a timely and controlled manner.
● Escalate material discrepancies or aged disputes to senior stakeholders.
● Utilize BlackRock Aladdin for trade and collateral management processes.
● Ensure accuracy of margin calculations driven by system inputs (pricing, sensitivities, eligibility schedules).
● Partner closely with front office, risk, legal, and treasury teams to resolve issues impacting margin flows.
● Support onboarding of new counterparties and collateral agreements.
● Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints within the margin process
● Support initiatives related to system enhancements, automation, and scalability of operations.


Qualifications & Experience:
● 5–7 years of experience in collateral management / variation margin operations within an asset manager, bank, or financial institution.
● Direct experience with both:
●Bilateral OTC derivatives collateral (CSA-based)
●Cleared derivatives margin (CCPs, FCMs)
●Hands-on experience with:
● AcadiaSoft (margin call and reconciliation workflows)
● BlackRock Aladdin (preferred, especially collateral and DeCo modules)
● Strong understanding of:
●CSA documentation and margin mechanics
●Margin methodologies (VM, IM concepts, thresholds, MTA, haircuts)
● Collateral eligibility and settlement processes
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving margin disputes.
● High attention to detail and ability to operate under tight deadlines.
