Associate Analyst, Data Strategy-2
The Data Quality team in the Data Strategy & Management organization (Chief Data Office) is responsible for developing and driving Mastercard's core data management program and broadening its data quality efforts. This team ensures that Mastercard maintains and increases the value of Mastercard's data assets as we enable new forms of payment, new players in the ecosystem and expand collection and use of data to support new lines of business.
Enterprise Data Quality team for is responsible for ensuring data is of the highest quality and is fit for purpose to support business and analytic uses. The team works to identify and prioritize opportunities for data quality improvement, develops strategic mitigation plans and coordinates remediation activities with MC Tech and the business owner.
Role
As Associate Analyst, Data Strategy you will:• Support the development of data quality dashboards by partnering with Data sourcing team, data strategy leads, data quality leads, business SMEs to understand requirements, and deliver insightful dashboards.• Lead the automation of data pipelines and ETL workflows across cloud and on-prem systems, for dashboard refresh.• Perform data analysis using SQL, cloud tools, and workflow automation platforms; iterate on outputs and share actionable insights with stakeholders.• Maintain dashboards, reports, and documentation to track acquisition activities and KPIs.• Collaborate with technical teams to run workflows and monitor pipeline performance.
All About You• Strong understanding of data dashboards, analysis, data ecosystems and data management.• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, or related field; master's preferred.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.• Hands-on experience with BI tools Tableau, power BI and other data visualization tools• Proficiency in SQL and exposure to Python; experience with data wrangling, matching, and ETL techniques.• Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing is a plus.• Ability to execute operational tasks, drive process improvements, and coordinate projects.• Intellectual curiosity and a process-driven approach to support business use cases.• Understanding of Mastercard products and systems preferred.
