Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the optimal day-to-day operations of the certification division.
- Review new scheme requirements and update audit guidelines, accordingly, keeping inspectors informed of any changes.
- Ensure that the most current version of the checklist is used at all audits.
- Complete all relevant internal training, authorisations, and any external training or examinations as required by the applicable scheme.
- Maintain the certification database and manage filing systems in an organised and up-to-date manner.
- Handle client communications in a professional and timely manner.
- Carry out Tracenet and Traces operations for the EU.
- Issue Transaction Certificates and certificates under other applicable standards.
- Maintain and operate traceability systems, including the internal TC system.
- Initiate and arrange sampling of commodities as required.
- Maintain the certification database and ensure records are accurate and current.
- Manage client communications and filing systems in a professional and timely manner.
- Carry out any other related tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Relevant University degree or a comparable level in a relevant discipline (Agriculture/Horticulture/food technology/ aquaculture/apiculture/animal husbandry relevant to the scope of certification)
- Relevant Industry experience of up to 1 year
- Relevant Training on Organic standards
- Knowledge of the quality management system.
