About the Role:
Crowdstrike is looking for Assistant Manager, Salutatory Audit in Pune, where you'll drive critical month-end close processes, group reporting, and statutory audits for our global operations. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage a high-performing accounting team while overseeing complex financial operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and foreign subsidiary reporting under US GAAP.
What You’ll Do:
Lead end-to-end statutory audit processes across international entities
Lead preparation of local GAAP compliant financial statements
Serve as the primary liason with local statutory auditors across all entities
Coordinate timely delivery of audit and tax requests with supporting reports and documentation
Review and tie out of audited statutory financial statements with relevant supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements including completion of regulatory and statistical surveys
Responsible for cross-functional collaboration
Corporate legal team on auditor appointment, preparation of Board Resolutions
Tax team for tax provision preparation
Internal Audit team for internal audit and controls testing as necessary
Procurement team for appointment/reappointment of auditors
Responsbile for preparation and maintainance of statutory audit calendar and annual budget for statutory audits
Monitor and report on audit status and key deliverables
Drive process standardization across global Record-to-Report (RTR) operations
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency
Other projects as assigned based on business needs.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
CA or CPA with 6-9years of experience, at least 3+ years proven track record of team management/supervisory experience
Strong understanding of US and International GAAP.
Strong stakeholder management experience
Excellence in cross-functional collaboration
Strategic mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities
Excellence in cross-functional collaboration
Big 4 audit experience
Candidate should be self-motivated, able to effectively prioritize responsibilities, work within tight deadlines, and work in a dynamic environment.
Good communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal functions (remote or on site) with excellent interpersonal skill to build relationships with a range of stakeholders
Must be able to work independently with general supervision, be a team player
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP functions, etc.) a Plus.
ERP (accounting software package) experience is required. NetSuite experience is preferred.
