Job Description

Job Responsibility:

This position is essential in the day-to-day tactical management of the media planning and buying and requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast paced, detail-oriented environment. The successful Manager Buying is resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate and lead in advanced projects.


Job Responsibilities includes

Buying and Execution:

  • Negotiate cost efficient schedules on behalf of the clients
  • Coordinate all aspects of the planning and buying process
  • Campaign Maintenance: Create production grids, posting instructions, creative and putting together campaign decks
  • Work closely with vendors
  • Seek creative solutions to enhance buying product
  • Proficient understanding Mumbai, Rest of Maharashtra and Gujarat; should be well versed with Google Maps
  • Send out competitive requests
  • Manage all discrepancy/billing resolution
  • Keep Managers informed of workload

Client & Internal Relationships:

  • Manage expectations of clients and their deliverables
  • Grow business opportunities within current clients
  • Work with supervisor to manage time, assure projects are completed on time and adhere to (within) client budget
  • Keeps up with the latest trends in media
  • Informs client/team of new opportunities or issues
  • Builds positive relationships with internal and external teams and sets good example with organisation
  • Attends all status meetings when appropriate
  • Manage relationships with external client vendors
  • May be responsible for informing team of new opportunities or issues
  • Participates and contributes in face-to-face client or vendor meetings

Strategic Thinking & Leadership:

  • Keeps current with market research (Competition tracking)
  • Ensure key information is provided to team regarding client/vendor issues, market landscape changes, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.
  • Be curious on the strategic importance of OOH and how it impacts the wider media mix
  • Responsible for constructing and delivering accurate, honest and timely post performance management documents
  • Works with management team to develop strategies for media buys

Communications Skills:

  • Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in oral communications
  • Writes in a clear, compelling, and concise manner
  • Organizes ideas and information logically and sequentially
  • May assist in the development of media presentations and tactical POVs
  • Develop client reports that are clear, compelling, and persuasive
  • Ensure key information is provided to team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.


Qualifications

Competencies:


  • Experience : OOH Media Knowledge : The person should have in-depth knowledge of OOH current media scenario in West Region. He/She should have/had direct interaction with OOH media vendors across Maharashtra, Goa, Gujrat.
  • Must have Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Should have basis English communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Should be able to take responsibility to execute and manage multiple campaigns
  • Need to be flexible on working hours as per client deadlines
