Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:
- An exceptional leader with a blend of Process Engineering & Industrial Engineering skills
- Hands-on experience in Process Design and development of assembly lines.
- Hands-on experience in core process technologies such as LASER technologies (welding & marking), dispensing technology, Riveting, Function test, Leak Testing, Flow Testing, Interference assemblies, Resistance welding, Tig/Mig welding, torquing applications, , etc.
- Knowledge on tools and fixture design
- Knowledge of Torquing strategies in DC tools and press fit monitoring strategies in any of the PFMS systems.
- Hands-on experience in creating the new process design and equipment development standards for lean assembly lines with complete data traceability.
- Hands-on experience in driving lean culture through TPM, TQM, VSM, Kanban, Kaizen blitz, and other lean strategies.
- Responsible for achieving PQCDSM targets of the plant.
- Develop manufacturing strategies aligning with the business needs.
- Hands-on experience in Process costing and Capex planning.
- Capacity analysis of various assembly lines and contingency planning.
- Practical knowledge/Hands on experience in problem-solving techniques i.e., Six Sigma, Shainin Red X.
- Good knowledge of the APQP development process.
- Lead the change to implement best practices and deployment of manufacturing standards by collaborating with global manufacturing experts
- Continual improvement through implementation of Lean, 5S, Six Sigma and Kaizen and maintain ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
Experience: 9 to 11 years of experience
Industry Preferred: Automotive/ Manufacturing / Electronics /Sensor/Electrical in OEM or Tier1 suppliers
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Mechatronics preferable)
Knowledge
Essential
- MES Knowledge preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt / Shainin Journeyman certification preferred
- Time Management, Teamwork & Good Communication Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Quality improvement tools.
- ISO/TS/OSHAS
- Follow and practice safety and environmental policies and procedure.
