About the role

As an Assistant Manager Manual Jewellery Designer you would be responsible for leading and developing innovative manual jewellery designs while overseeing the design process from concept to final product. This role also involves managing the design team, ensuring designs align with the brand aesthetics and market trends and collaborating with production teams.

Key Responsibilities

·      Translate creative briefs into detailed manual sketches that reflect brand aesthetics and craftsmanship

·      Create highly detailed and aesthetically appealing manual sketches and illustrations of jewellery designs

·      Research and identify emerging trends in jewellery design, materials, and techniques, incorporating them into new collections while maintaining brand consistency

·      Manage resource allocation and project timelines for the manual design team

·      Work cross-functionally with different teams to understand market needs and incorporate feedback into design concepts

·      Oversee the design execution process and ensure designs are produced accurately

Requirements

Key Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or a related field with a focus on manual sketching.

·      7-8 years or experience in manual jewellery or accessory design

·      Strong artistic sensibility with a keen eye for aesthetics, composition and proportion

·      Passionate about design and aware of evolving trends in fine jewellery.

·      Ability to work in a fast paced environment
