Role Purpose and Summary

• Support the implementation and management of data engineering solutions to drive the adoption of data-driven insights across the organization. Contribute to the development, integration, and optimization of data systems, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business needs and drive the adoption of emerging technologies within the data space 

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering, data management, or related fields; Experience in financial services, investment management, or technology sectors is preferred 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus 

Key Responsibilities: Role Specific Technical Responsibilities

• Data Integration and Development: 
• Assist in the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and systems to integrate data from various sources 
• Support the transformation and preparation of data for analytics and reporting by ensuring data quality and integrity 
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate data solutions 
• Assist in building and maintaining scalable and efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to enable easy access to data for business intelligence and analytics 




• Technology Integration: 
• Contribute to the integration of emerging data technologies and platforms within existing systems 
• Support the deployment of data tools and work closely with business teams to ensure successful integration with operational processes 
• Help manage data tool configuration and data pipelines, ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient 
• Assist in training employees on new data tools, ensuring adoption and proficiency across departments 




• Data Systems Management: 
• Oversee the management and performance of day-to-day data systems, ensuring that they meet the data accessibility, security, and compliance needs of the organization 
• Implement regular monitoring and performance checks for data systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems 
• Help ensure data systems adhere to industry standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance and security at all times 
• Assist in vendor management related to data tools and technologies, ensuring service delivery and system performance 




• Collaboration and Support: 
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, provide support, and ensure seamless integration of data solutions across business functions 
• Provide technical support to internal teams and assist in troubleshooting data system issues 
• Participate in the identification and resolution of data-related issues, including inconsistencies or gaps in data quality 




• Compliance and Security: 
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity and compliance teams to implement appropriate security measures for data systems 
• Ensure that data practices meet all internal compliance standards and industry regulations, including data privacy laws and standards
