Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Functional Leadership role - candidate will be responsible for delivering multiple key initiatives to business within the defined scope, time and cost.
- Provides overall direction, guidance and definition of IT Ecosystem architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy.
- Reviews existing business processes and establishes metrics to improve business processes
- establishes and oversees the business application team, including the recruitment, development and maintenance of the staffs
- oversees the definition of the future-state and current-state business requirement, and uses IT to identify and guide projects
- Leverages business capabilities as a platform for illustrating the link between business needs (as shown by capabilities) with decisions to their technology, solution and business applications.
- Reviews business drivers and strategies, understands the implications to the application design, and identifies/mitigates risks to solutions.
- Leads analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the business application.
- Ensures the effective translation of the security architecture is implemented into the solutions.
- Understands where Everise is planning to go in the future to provide valuable inputs to stakeholders
- Interfaces across education, research, and administrative areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects.
- Have business/Domain centric application delivery roadmaps (short & long term) in outsourcing and transformation delivery
- Revenue influence, efficiency & effectiveness impact through the use embedded capabilities, tools and wrappers
- Cost optimization target for short term and long term
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven hands-on Software Development experience
- Proven working experience in Microsoft technologies and other technologies
- Proven working experience in using REST APIs and Web Services (SOAP) within a web platforms
- Experience in designing and developing enterprise grade applications.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational and non-relational Databases
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Spring MVC, JSF, JSP, Servlet, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, .Net)
- Complete understanding of SDLC (Waterfall and Agile)
- Good understanding of on-prem and cloud based data warehouse technologies.
- Good understanding over Azure and AWS
- Minimum 4-5 years in project management and application delivery
- Exposure to BPO industry will have an added advantage.
- Very good understanding of Enterprise level application architecture and ability to understand complex mix of various tools, technologies, solutions and inter-relations between them.
- Very good technical design and documentation skills
- Good knowledge of GenAI and various other AI technologies
Position Requirements:
- 7-12 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor / Master degree in IT, Computer Science Engineering or a related subject
- Proven ability to lead, coordinate the work across various internal and external departments.
- Proven track record of working and leading the delivery through external vendors
- Able to manage high flux, multi project, volatile delivery environment
- Proven experience in team development – improvement of skills of team members, motivation, feedback
- Agile experience: plan, direct, and coordinate all activities associated with Sprint planning and execution.
- Very good verbal and written communication. Ability to influence stakeholders. Experience in Excel and PowerPoint will be an added advantage
