Asset Management - Investment Specialist Associate - Fixed Income

As an Investment Specialist within our Fixed Income team , you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Job Responsibilities

• Prepare strategy presentations covering performance, market value, and portfolio analytics.
• Analyze portfolio characteristics and provide detailed insights on holdings.
• Develop customized client presentations for Investment Specialist review meetings.
• Evaluate portfolio positioning, analytics, and performance results.
• Assist in preparing client performance reports and investment review materials for new and existing clients.
• Provide commentaries on performance drivers and investment outcomes.
• Support the creation of various client communications as required.
• Monitor portfolio guidelines and ensure adherence for both internal and external managed portfolios.
• Coordinate with Sales, Consultants, and RFP teams to address their requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill any additional needs of the Investment Specialist.
• Deliver high-quality work with a strong commitment to accuracy and excellence.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• At least 3 years of experience in financial markets.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of Fixed Income and the asset management business.
• Display strong quantitative and analytical skills, including data analysis and understanding of data flows.
• Show proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Maintain a proactive, positive approach and ability to learn concepts and procedures quickly.
• Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills.
• Manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Focus on delivery and detail-orientation with a commitment to accuracy.
• Work independently and as a collaborative team player.
• Engage proactively and connect with audiences across different seniority levels.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Hold a Master's Degree from a recognized institute in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• CFA or FRM candidature is an added advantage.
• Exhibit proficiency in Python, including previous coding experience.
