Job DescriptionJob Summary
The Senior Architect will lead the architectural design of advanced semiconductor facilities, ensuring innovative, sustainable, and functional solutions tailored to the unique demands of the semiconductor industry. With over 10 years of experience, the ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in designing cleanrooms, manufacturing facilities, and high-tech environments. This role requires a seasoned professional who can manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee large-scale projects, and deliver cutting-edge architectural solutions while adhering to industry standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of semiconductor facilities, including cleanrooms, wafer fabs, R&D labs, and manufacturing plants.
- Develop detailed architectural plans, specifications, and design documentation tailored to the unique requirements of semiconductor environments.
- Ensure designs meet stringent industry standards for contamination control, environmental sustainability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of architectural and technical systems.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
- Present design concepts, progress updates, and final deliverables to clients and stakeholders.
- Address client feedback and ensure their vision is realized in the final design.
- Integrate sustainable design principles into semiconductor facility projects, promoting energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and materials in semiconductor facility designs.
- Drive innovation in architectural practices to meet the evolving needs of the semiconductor industry.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and project delivery
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM tools.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor facility design, including cleanroom classifications (ISO 1-9), airflow systems, and vibration control.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Advanced education in architecture .
- Expertise in cleanroom design, CAD tools, and sustainability practices.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
