Role Overview:
As an Applied AI Tech Lead in the applications team of the R&D team, you will drive the development of cutting-edge AI solutions, bridging the gap between research and real-world applications. You will lead a team of developers and  engineers to experiment, prototype, and deploy AI-powered systems across diverse industry domains. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the team remains effective in AI innovation. Additionally, you will be hands-on in coding, problem-solving, and working alongside teams to develop AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of AI developers and  engineers in the development of novel AI models and solutions.

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from ideation and prototyping to deployment.

• Actively participate in coding, debugging, and optimizing AI models and solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI research into scalable products and solutions.

• Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and assess their feasibility for business impact.

• Contribute to intellectual property.

• Optimize and fine-tune models for real-world constraints such as efficiency, latency, and scalability.

• Engage with industry partners and internal stakeholders to define applied R&D roadmaps.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in AI/ML research and applied AI development.

• Experience with generative AI, foundation models, or multi-modal AI systems.

• Hands-on experience in deploying AI models at scale in real-world environments.

• Proven ability to lead research initiatives, drive innovation, and manage technical teams.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and AI model development.

• Contributions to AI research through papers, patents, or open-source projects.

• Strong software engineering skills in Python, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and MLOps.

• Familiarity with AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI principles.
