Bring your energy to Aggreko as Applications Engineer based in Pune. You will be responsible for technical analysis, design, and project lifecycle management for power generation solutions. It provides expert engineering support from sales to commissioning and operations, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to safety standards.

What you’ll do:
Lead Technical Design & Sizing: Conduct in-depth analysis of client system load profiles and electrical plant characteristics to determine optimal power generation package sizing, including detailed engineering reviews and CAD drawing compilation.
Manage Project Lifecycle & Client Engagement: Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from initial client liaison and site verification to reviewing tender bids, preparing Project Design Pack (PDP) documentation, and providing expert engineering solutions.
Provide Operational & Troubleshooting Support: Offer critical engineering assistance to regional operations teams during project installation, commissioning, and ongoing operational phases, including on-site troubleshooting of faults.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Compile comprehensive engineering design reports for clients and management, while actively upholding Aggreko's strong emphasis on health, operational safety, and environmental protection.
Support Sales & Strategic Initiatives: Provide technical feedback for tender bids and project-specific design solutions to the sales team, demonstrating commitment to "Orange Excellence" initiatives.
You are:
Educational Foundation & Industry Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5-7 years of service experience in a similar industry.
Problem-Solving & Results-Oriented Drive: Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a deep-seated drive to achieve exceptional business results, high accountability, and a commitment to task completion.
Exceptional Interpersonal & Customer-Centric Approach: Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively across functions, and maintain a keen focus on understanding and responding to customer needs.
Resilience & Adaptability: Demonstrates resilience, persistence, and self-reliance, with the flexibility to travel as and when necessary.
