Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and impact of issues.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Provide timely updates and clear communication to stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with JBOSS Administration, Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateways.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex software issues.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques to diagnose application problems.
- Understanding of software lifecycle and support methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical information clearly.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Java Standard Edition.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
