Seeking a highly experienced Software Architect/Technical Lead (8-15+ years) to design, own, and lead the architecture for large-scale, cloud-native applications. This role mandates expertise in building robust, scalable solutions using Python-based backend services and React-based user interfaces. Responsibilities include technical leadership, enforcing best practices, ensuring performance and security on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and integrating advanced DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes). Deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and driving technological innovation, including AI/ML functionalities, is required.
Responsibilities- Architecture & Design: Design and own the overall architecture for large-scale applications, producing and reviewing high-level (HLDs) and low-level design documentation (LLDs). This includes defining microservices, event-driven systems, and data pipelines.
- Development & Integration: Oversee the development and integration of robust Python-based backend services (APIs, business logic, data processing) with responsive React-based user interfaces.
- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor engineering teams, conducting architecture and code reviews, and enforcing coding standards and best practices.
- Scalability & Performance: Ensure application performance, security, data integrity, and scalability, often within cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- DevOps & Cloud: Integrate DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Innovation: Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve development efficiency and drive innovation, potentially incorporating AI/ML functionalities.
- Typically requires 8-15+ years of experience in software development, with significant experience in an architect or technical lead role.
- Backend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI). Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling is essential.
- Frontend Expertise: Deep knowledge of React and its core principles, including state management libraries like Redux or Flux. Proficiency in related front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Architecture & Design Patterns: Solid understanding of architectural patterns like microservices, event-driven architectures, and secure API design (REST, GraphQL).
- Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related or equivalent work experience required.
