ISS STOXX is looking for a Analytics Research Lead for our ISS MI Research Development team at the Mumbai - Goregaon East location.
Overview:
ISS MI Research has established a new research team focused on generating industry leading content. The new team will form an integral part of our global, as well as country-specific—US, Canadian and Australian—research operations, with exciting opportunities to contribute to growing our global research and analytical insights capital around the world.
The Analytics Research Lead, ISS MI Research Development, position represents an exciting opportunity to shape the ISS MI Research Development team’s analytics strategy and make a significant contribution to the thought leadership and intellectual capital of ISS MI Research and ISS MI at large.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of analysts to deliver advanced analytics, forecasting, reporting, and business intelligence solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify client demand for predictive modelling and forecasting tools and translate such demand into solutions.
Support the ISS MI Research Development team in delivering actionable insight to clients by advancing the team’s analytics capabilities
Oversee the design and maintenance of dashboards to provide real-time insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Establish and refine analytics methodologies, ensuring scalability and efficiency in data workflows.
Foster a culture of innovation and coach team members on technical skills and best practices in analytics.
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support strategic initiatives.
Champion data quality, governance, and compliance across all analytics activities.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence within financial services or a related industry.
Proven leadership experience managing analytics teams and delivering complex projects.
Technical expertise in Python, Power BI, and SQL is essential.
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and visualization best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and advanced analytics tools is a plus.
