Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Analysis and Reporting
▪ Design and create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
▪ Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis based on business needs.
o Power BI Development
▪ Develop data models and implement DAX.
▪ Build dynamic and user-friendly dashboards with drill-down and filtering capabilities.
o Data Integration and Transformation
▪ Integrate data from multiple sources like Excel, SQL Server, and cloud services into Power BI.
▪ Use Power Query to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis.
o Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
▪ Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
▪ Present findings and data visualizations to key business decision-makers.
o Data Governance and Quality Assurance
▪ Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related technical field, required.
o Power BI certification is a plus
Experience Required:
o 0-2 years of experience working with Power BI.
o Hands-on experience with Power BI tools, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
o Experience integrating data from multiple sources like Excel, SQL, or cloud-based services.
o Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
o Basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
o Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
o Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
o Enthusiastic about learning new technologies, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A self-directed individual with a can-do attitude, willing to work in an energetic, fast paced team environment.
