The DXC Finance Master Data is a corporate team responsible for enabling the key finance master data elements within DXC finance systems according to Corporate, Reporting, and Business needs. The team is part of DXC Finance Systems and Processes organization and cooperates with stakeholders across multiple finance and business functions.
Under general supervision, performs administrative duties for mid-level managers and finance department professionals. Responsible the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate master data structures as per detailed assignments.
Key responsibilities:
- Support in the Creation and maintenance of Finance Master data like Profit Centers, Cost Centers & GL Accounts
- Responding to the Generic Mailbox queries within TAT
- Provide support for various projects driven by Corporate & IT teams from the Master data perspective
- Collaborate with other teams to provide and get support for the day-to-day activities
- Be a team player to collaborate with the team members effectively
- Supporting end users on their master data queries.
- Support in improvements of master data workflows, processes, and documentation.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Master Data basics, understanding of the key elements of master data structures.
- Familiar with finance processes (close, forecasting) and systems.
- Very good communication skills (English), both written and verbal.
- Very good command of business tools and Microsoft Office applications (MS Teams, Excel [Power Query is a plus], PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Result Oriented. Ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical skills.
- Can-do attitude.
- Flexibility in working hours (we work with global teams)
- Team player in multi country teams with very good interpersonal skills, including ‘Work from Home’ environment.
- Good business acumen.
- SAP knowledge is an asset.
