Business Unit Overview:
The ACX team is a front-end client team sitting at an intersection of finance and technology, and this unique
role is designed for professionals driven to solve complex investment and analytical challenges, manage and grow key client relationships, and actively contribute to the firm’s commercial and business objectives.
As a business, we tackle the hardest, and the most sophisticated problems in FinTech. We utilize our in-depth understanding of Aladdin, our clients’ business, capital markets, analytical concepts and the overall investment management process to provide world-class service to our ever-growing global client base. Our team members
come from different majors and bring diverse skills and experiences to the table, but we share a serious passion for solving the toughest problems and keeping our clients happy.

• Portfolio Management Tools and Portfolio Analytics
• Performance Attribution and Single Security Analytics

• Cloud-Based Data Warehouse
• Vendor Reference Data
• Order management systems (OMS) and Electronic Trading Systems (EMS)
• FIX process & protocol and post-trade operations along with collateral management

What is the purpose and scope of a CSS role in ACX?
As a client success specialist, you will be part of a front-end high-performing global team that supports client
relationships, promotes effective use of our products, and contributes to overall business outcomes. Through structured learning, mentorship, and on-the-job experiences, you’ll gain exposure to Aladdin, broader capital markets, investment products & technology, and the fundamentals of relationship management. Over time, you will contribute to our commercial objectives by helping retain and grow Aladdin client partnerships.

Our team partners with:
External Aladdin client community - Portfolio and Risk Managers, Product Strategists and Developers, Core Analytics Modelling and Quantitative Engineering, Business Development, and COOs of Investment teams
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Relationship & Experience Support: Build strong working relationships by delivering responsive
and thoughtful service. Engage clients to understand their needs, challenges, and business workflows
• Provide hands-on service to empower our clients to run their businesses on Aladdin: You will have direct, daily interactions with industry practitioners at respected investment institutions. You will solve problems that matter, making a direct and measurable difference to our clients and their investments.
In the process, you will hone technical, industry, and relationship skills
• Technical & Analytical Skill Development: Develop understanding of BlackRock’s proprietary risk
models and infrastructure to develop as an SME on the front-end Aladdin tools and risk analytics for products such as funds, equities, fixed income, derivatives, public and private markets, etc.
• Using technology to solve problems: Basic understanding of Python, SQL and UNIX is a plus. Support technology initiatives within the team to grow the Aladdin products, as well as achieve scalability and
efficiency. Apply these skills to help us make Aladdin easier to navigate and support
• Educate users, demonstrate service insights, and relay user feedback to improve client experience
and contribute to our product development lifecycle: We believe that the best client service is proactive, not reactive. We are students of our own data and engage with our clients and engineers to keep problems from arising, in addition to handling issues that are brought to our attention
• Service Delivery with Commercial Exposure: Partner with stakeholders across engineering & products and clients to identify harvesting opportunities and focus areas per product per region. Build relations with client teams to drive engagement and contribute to long-term commercial success
• Work on a global team, with a local presence: Our support model follows the sun – if a market is open somewhere in the world, so are we. You will work with teams across the world in different time zones
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science,
or Business major, or a related field from a top university
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex methodologies and analytical content into clear messages
• Strong mathematical acumen and passion for front-end client engagement and problem-solving
• Quantitative coursework and willingness to learn technical tools such as Python, SQL and UNIX. At leastone programming language would be a strong plus and aptitude for working in client centric role
• A team-first attitude, with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with intellectual curiosity and ability to partner across geographies
• Meticulous attention to detail, structured approach to sophisticated analysis and a strong sense of
initiative and ownership. Ability to navigate through multiple priorities
• Understanding of banking and financial sector, balance sheet, regulations, and economics concepts
• The understanding of financial products such as bonds, equities, alternatives, etc. is a plus
• Curious and self-motivated with a passion to learn about financial markets and risk management
concepts along with a desire to grow within a fast-paced and evolving industry
• Professional Certifications such as CFA, FRM or any progress towards it are preferred

Our hybrid work model
