Job DescriptionAs a Senior AI Solutions Architect, you define and AI solutions that transform IT, employee, and business workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver AI solutions that meet the needs of Software Developers, Finance, Legal, Security, Privacy, and HR functions. You will work hands-on to develop custom AI solutions, as well as collaborate with system architects and data scientists to integrate externally developed solutions. You will stay current with the evolving AI marketplace and maintain strong foundational knowledge of AI platforms, stacks, and models. You will champion AI literacy and collaborate with business functions on AI governance.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Use Case Identification: Lead analysis of stakeholder needs and evaluate potential AI application. Assess the feasibility, viability, and alignment with AI governance policies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate AI solution vision, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, EIT leadership, and relevant business units. Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding AI governance policies and their impact on product development.
- AI SASS Product Evaluation: Engage with vendors to evaluate SaaS products for fit to business use cases. Model total cost of ownership (TCO), and ability to deliver ROI. Ensure that SASS offerings are maintainable and meet Nielsen security standards, data governance policies, and regulatory compliance requirements. Inform overall purchase decisions.
- AI Application Development: Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle for custom built EIT AI products, from ideation and requirements gathering through development, launch, and iteration. Orchestrate the contributions of participants and stakeholders. Ensuring that AI solutions adhering to AI governance policies and can be transferred smoothly out of development into business operations
- AI Solution Integration: Lead the integration and deployment of approved AI solutions into the Nielsen ecosystem. Implement operational monitoring, performance tuning, and security requirements. Operationalize support.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish metrics and processes to monitor AI solution effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement and optimization, with a focus on ensuring that AI systems meet EIT-specific business value KPIs, performance, compliance, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Science adjacent fields
- Minimum 8 years experience in software application development.
- Full stack software development abilities including experience with low-code/no-code platforms in the Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and frameworks
- Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and leadership skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in AI solutions and governance.
- Experience with data & analytics tools and technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing AI products through the entire product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and technologies, including LLMs.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and designers.
- Familiarity with AI regulations, such as the EU AI Act, and data privacy regulations, such as GDPR.
