Role - AI Platform & Integration Manager

Location - Remote until further notice

 

About the role - 

As the AI Platform & Integration Manager, you'll own the end-to-end technical health of the studio's AI platforms — ensuring they are well integrated, consistently optimised, and built to scale. You'll bridge technical infrastructure and business output, working cross-functionally with creative, production, and operations teams to ensure the tools the studio depends on work seamlessly together.

 

What you'll do -

  • Own the technical architecture and operational health of AI platforms, serving as the primary point of accountability for platform stability, reliability, and performance.
  • Design, build, and maintain API integrations and system connectivity across the AI and content technology stack.
  • Configure and continuously optimise AI platforms to improve performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain automation workflows that reduce manual effort and accelerate studio operations.
  • Manage application integrations and data synchronisation across platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data flows.
  • Design and maintain data pipelines; monitor data integrity, identify anomalies, and resolve issues proactively before they impact operations.
  • Develop and execute technical QA and testing frameworks to validate platform behaviour, integration reliability, and output quality.
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation of system architecture, integration configurations, and operational processes — accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and integration technologies; provide evidence-based recommendations on adoption and implementation.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for platform-related questions from creative, production, and operations teams — translating complexity into clear, actionable guidance.

What you need to be great in this role: 


Technical expertise

  • Proven experience owning and managing AI platform infrastructure in a live production environment.
  • Strong command of API design and RESTful services, with hands-on integration experience across enterprise or marketing technology stacks.
  • Experience building and maintaining automation workflows using modern integration tooling.
  • Proficiency in application integration, data synchronisation, and middleware configuration.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and monitoring data pipelines with a focus on data integrity and performance.
  • Rigorous, systematic approach to technical QA, testing methodology, and issue resolution.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaboration and influence

  • Confident communicating technical complexity to non-technical stakeholders without losing precision.
  • Able to work cross-functionally with creative, production, and operations teams — translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proactive in surfacing risks, dependencies, and platform limitations before they escalate.

Gen AI & agentic thinking

  • Advanced use of generative AI tools to enhance platform management, technical problem-solving, and documentation quality.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows that improve efficiency and output consistency.
  • Ability to guide others on effective, responsible AI tool usage within a platform context.
  • Agentic approach to complex, multi-step technical challenges: able to decompose problems, identify optimal paths forward, and execute with precision.
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, with rigorous human oversight applied to all outputs
