The Accounts Receivable Specialist,  will be responsible for multiple aspects of accounts receivable/collection function – Coordinating with customers through email, phone etc to collect pending invoices, application of payments received, collecting, and maintaining TDS certificates, reconciliation of accounts statements etc. This resource will work closely with the Account receivable team members in Boston and in India.

What you'll do:

• Regularly interact with customers in the region through email, phone etc to following on pending invoices

• Monitor receipts in the bank statements and seek payment details from clients

• Application of payments to the appropriate invoices based on payment instructions received from clients

• Resolve any exceptions for payments cannot be applied

• Develop good understanding of the vendor portals like Ariba and ensure that the invoices are submitted as per the requirements to receive payments on time

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to match HBP records and customer records

• Collect and maintain TDS certificates and identify the invoices relating to the same

• Assist in preparing tax workings

• Maintain notes on collection efforts in Workday

What you'll bring:

Graduate/post-graduate in Finance or Inter-CA

• 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or credit and collections

• Experience in applications like Workday, High Radius etc will be a plus.

• Advanced MS excel skills • Systematic Data maintenance skills and attention for detail

• Good understanding of the tax provisions of India • Self-motivated and good team player

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
