Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst (Travel & Expense)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Expense Reporting Analyst to join our Accounts Payable team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end employee expense reimbursement process in Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies, and optimizing expense management operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in expense reporting systems, policy enforcement, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in expense reimbursements.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reimbursement of employee expenses through the expense management system.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with corporate travel and expense policies.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and automation of expense reporting workflows.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to expense reimbursements and work on Credit card reconciliation.
- Prepare reports and analysis on expense trends, policy violations, and areas for cost control.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit guidelines for expense reporting.
- Assist in training employees on the use of Concur expense management systems and best practices for expense submissions.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Expense Reporting, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of expense reporting processes, policies, and best practices.
- Experience working with expense management systems (e.g., Concur).
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis for reporting and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience handling global expense reporting and multi-currency transactions.
- Knowledge of automation tools and process optimization in expense management.
- Prior experience in internal audits related to travel and expense compliance.
