About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our Finance & Accounts team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain practical exposure to accounting processes, financial documentation, taxation, and day-to-day finance operations in a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and financial documents.
- Support the processing and recording of invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Maintain vendor and customer records with accuracy.
- Help prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and supporting schedules.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related activities.
- Organize, verify, and maintain accounting files and documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments for financial documentation and approvals.
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting software (Tally/ERP) is preferred.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
