Accrete AI is hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting operations for our India-based team while supporting financial close processes for our US-based operations. As a key member of our global finance team, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping our accounting function, including documenting policies, procedures, and controls in line with US GAAP and implementing modern accounting tools to streamline workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations for Accrete AI’s India-based entity.
  • Collaborate with the US accounting team to ensure seamless and timely financial close processes.
  • Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with US GAAP standards.
  • Implement and optimize advanced accounting software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations across multi-entity operations in India and the US.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (equivalent to Chartered Accountant or a relevant professional qualification in India).
  • CPA, CMA, or CA certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with US GAAP and international accounting standards.
  • 5-8 years of overall experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proven experience collaborating with multinational teams across geographies (India and US preferred).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth organization and manage both day-to-day tasks and strategic initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with equity valuation models, such as the Black-Scholes Model.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to balance tactical execution with strategic insights.
