INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Role Overview:

As an AWS Cloud Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by engaging with prospective customers, understanding their cloud needs, and guiding them through the AWS offerings like Cloud Consulting, Cloud Migration, Cost Optimization, Managed Services etc. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and closing sales while working closely with our technical and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers through research, networking, and outreach efforts to generate new business opportunities within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Sales Engagement: Conduct outbound and inbound sales activities, including calls, emails, and virtual meetings, to engage with prospects and qualify their needs.
  • Solution Selling: Understand customer pain points and business requirements to recommend appropriate AWS cloud solutions and services.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities, track progress, and report on sales activities and forecasts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the AWS Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, and other internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of AWS solutions.
  • Customer Education: Provide insights and information about AWS services, pricing models, and best practices to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close deals in alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations to drive long-term growth.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging AWS technologies to effectively position and sell AWS solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the cloud computing or technology sector. Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is highly desirable.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation platforms.
    • Knowledge of AWS cloud services, pricing, and deployment models is a plus. Candidates with Datacentre experience can also apply.
  • Attributes:
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and problem-solving.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
