Job Summary:

Enterprise Sales Hunter – Cross-Border Payments (India)
This is a high-impact Enterprise Sales Hunter role focused on new-logo acquisition for a payment gateway purpose-built for India’s cross-border B2C exporters. You will sell to fast-growing startups, D2C brands, SaaS companies and digital-first export houses enabling them to collect payments seamlessly from global customers.
Sitting at the forefront of revenue growth, you will build and close multi-crore pipelines, win lighthouse merchants, and shape vertical playbooks across ecommerce, D2C, SaaS and exporter segments. With direct C-suite exposure and ownership of marquee accounts, this role is ideal for a proven hunter who wants to be a key growth driver in India’s cross-border fintech ecosystem.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recommend best practices for business improvement.
  • Lead functional projects and programs.
  • Analyze business trends to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements.
  • Monitor and report on account health and performance.

Expected Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end new-logo acquisition for enterprise and upper-mid-market clients in cross-border and export-led commerce (D2C exporters, marketplaces, SaaS, B2B platforms, aggregators).

  • Engage senior stakeholders (CFO, COO, Head of Payments/Ecommerce) to position the company as a strategic payments partner.

  • Build and scale a qualified hunting pipeline through networks, events, cold outreach, partners and data-led prospecting.

  • Lead the full enterprise sales cycle: discovery, solutioning, pricing, negotiation, contracting and handover.

  • Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance and Operations to design compliant cross-border payment solutions (collections, payouts, FX, settlement, reconciliation).

  • Develop and refine vertical playbooks, value propositions and objection-handling frameworks.

  • Track pipeline, forecasts, win/loss insights and deal economics using CRM and analytics.

  • Represent the company at industry forums, exporter associations and fintech events.

  • Provide structured market feedback on competition, pricing, corridors and merchant needs.

Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of B2B sales experience, with 5+ years in enterprise hunting roles within payments, fintech, cross-border trade, ecommerce or transaction banking.

  • Proven success closing complex enterprise deals with multi-stakeholder buying centres.

  • Strong network with C-suite and senior decision makers across exporters, D2C brands, SaaS firms and PSPs in India.

  • Deep understanding of payment gateways, cross-border flows, FX, risk, chargebacks and compliance.

  • Experience structuring commercial models (MDR, FX mark-ups, minimum guarantees) and negotiating contracts.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
