The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing opportunities for FoodChain ID’s Technical Services products and solutions. Reporting to the Sales Director Technical Services EMEA & APAC, this role focuses on generating leads, developing high-value relationships with prospective clients, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs, ultimately maximizing revenue across the assigned territory.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across targeted industries and sectors.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through market research, networking, outbound prospecting, and social media engagement.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client challenges and position relevant FoodChain ID solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close new business agreements.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and technical teams to deliver proposals and solutions that meet client requirements.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities, providing market insights and Voice of the Client (VOC) feedback.
- Represent FoodChain ID at trade shows, conferences, industry events, and association meetings.
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of proven success in Sales, ideally within food certification, verification, compliance, or technical services.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and managing the full sales cycle.
- Proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics (HubSpot desirable).
- Commercially astute with strong market analysis, sales planning, and performance management skills.
- Excellent presentation, public speaking, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Fluent in written and spoken English plus a local language.
- Flexible approach to travel and working hours.
