About the role

As an important part of the ApotheCom team, the Director, Client Services (Account Director) leads the client services team on assigned accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. They are responsible for overall financial oversight (including proposal development, financial tracking/reporting and budgeting) of their assigned accounts and providing training to, and managing the performance of the client services team reporting up to them. In addition to overseeing the overall client relationship, the Director, Client Services role requires collaboration with other internal departments (including scientific services, meetings and creative/digital), external experts, and vendors. This position can be hybrid or remote with occasional travel and will report into a Vice President of Client Services.


About you:

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical communications with a role in client services

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to manage multiple accounts, meet financial milestones and maintain recoverability

  • Effectively leads teams and motivates others to achieve common goals. Engenders team spirit, trust, and respect and takes collective responsibility for team successes and areas for improvement

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the health care communications industry, with experience in delivering both publications and medical education tactics

  • Understands the drug development process and licensing regulations, including any international licensing applicable to clients. Can train new team members on fundamental processes

  • Understands client strategies in the context of our business and the wider industry; ability to identify and leads new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients

  • Leads team decision-making and plans, organizes, and prioritizes work for the team while achieving overarching business goals

  • Advanced computer skills, knowledge of Internet searches and Microsoft Windows software including; Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.

Compensation

$110,000$137,000 USD
