In this role, you will test, troubleshoot, and deliver Ericsson's 5G New Radio (NR) solutions on high-performance General Purpose Processors (GPP), with a sharp focus on resilience and availability. Your work keeps Ericsson product releases steady under real traffic, shortens issue cycles, and lifts customer experience across Cloud RAN and purpose built RAN.
What you will do
Drive end-to-end system level tests in 5G RAN technologies. Is the product suitable to release to the Customer?
Perform requirement analysis for feature integration and verification. Does the requirement meet what the Customer expects?
Perform system level troubleshooting procedures. Is my issue related to product, or environment?
Deliver software assessments based on a data-driven and analytical approach. Which parts of the data are critical to my decision?
Participate in customer validation tests. How well did our tests address the requirements?
Drive continuous improvements of products, structures and processes. How can we improve?
Develop competence in a technical domain. Am I continually upskilling myself?
Explore on-premise AI assisted verification, for example anomaly detection, test selection, and log triage. How can we accelerate insight and reduce noise?
You will bring
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Passion for new technologies and readiness to learn new things. We will provide you with extensive training, you must be open to learning.
Excellent analytical, and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of CI/CD technologies, with exposure to configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Gerrit, Jenkins).
Familiarity with Linux and overall IP networking.
Nice to have:
NR & LTE knowledge or experience is desired (or a keen interest demonstrated).
Software development skills particularly in Java and Python.
Knowledge of Cloud Native principles, Machine Learning and AI.
Knowledge of UE test tool.
