Develop, test, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable Java and Spring Boot backend applications. Design RESTful APIs and microservices, work with AWS cloud services, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. Own features from design through deployment and monitoring, participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, support production incidents, and collaborate with globally distributed teams while using AI-assisted development tools.

Manages a team of 6–12 software engineers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and development planning. Drives high-quality software delivery in a regulated environment, facilitates quarterly planning, removes team impediments, and coordinates with Product, Business, and Customer Operations. Reports development, quality, operational, and system performance metrics while improving Agile processes and cross-team effectiveness.

Build and operate internal AI platforms for developer workflows and AI-assisted operations. Integrate AI into CI/CD and engineering toolchains, implement quality and compliance guardrails, support HIPAA/GxP and FedRAMP-boundary environments, and develop anomaly detection, incident triage, runbook automation, and self-healing capabilities. Partner with engineering, security, compliance, and leadership to establish responsible AI standards and measure improvements in engineering throughput and operational reliability.
